Ibn Sterling Shaklan

Ibn Sterling Shaklan is a son of the American import, *Sterling Shaklan. *Sterling Shaklan was sired by the immortal El Shaklan and out of the Ansata El Sherif daughter, Sherakaire. Ibn Sterling Shaklan's dam, T Naazifah is a daughter of another El Shaklan son, *Simeon Sa'ar Imp (Ex *Damirah Imp Ger.) from Naazirah (*Mustafa Imp Ger. x *Naadirah).

We proudly introduce our stallion Ibn Sterling Shaklan, AKA Rocky. Rocky is a very interesting blend of the modern influence of El Shaklan breeding crossed with the best classic Egyptian, Polish, Russian and Crabbet lines. To date he has produced outstanding foals when crossed with high percentage Egyptian or El Shaklan lines. Having only been used in a closed stud he has had little opportunity to show his true potential. Of the foals shown all have consistently placed in strong classes, frequently coming out with the Championship accolades. 

This is particularly the case with his son, Kai Hai Sterling Aaramis, who was many times a multi-champion at halter and is now trying his hooves at endurance and doing very well having completed his first 80 Klm at the end of his first season.  Subsequently doing numerous 160klm rides, 2006 without a vet-out or withdrawal and completion of the 320klm Faraway Marathon.
